In today’s society there are many reasons or forces that prevent couples from performing a wedding ceremony inside a Church.
Some of the reasons are:
- Economic – Want to limit the wedding expenses.
- Divorce – Many couples are divorced and many Churches do not recognize the divorce status.
- Couples don’t believe in getting married.
- Each individual in the couple comes from a different religious background.
- Life Style – Same sex couples. Although this is changing rapidly.
